Denim jackets should be a staple and a must have in any mans closet, because of it’s multiple functionality and look it will always remain in style, whether or not you favor the darkest indigo denim or the lightest bleached out styles a denim jacket is a must for transitional weather, but why not try and elevate this classic look with a denim jacket that has a surprise detailing or some kind of element that can play on the typical classic All-American look. Now if you’re buying your first denim jacket I recommend the classic styles in a wash that you will get the most use out of, for most myself included this would be a medium washed denim but if you already own that one staple piece think about adding a denim jacket with a twist into your wardrobe.

Now I definitely am a sucker for some good hardware and some lace up details so it was only fitting that I buy this lace up acid wash denim jacket from Forever 21 Men’s department. It added that little extra bit of cool and edgy that I like to incorporate into my wardrobe, styled here with some of my favorite pieces. This look embodies a perfect elevated transitional denim jacket look. Especially since the weather here in Utah has been very unpredictable and just while wearing this look it went from rain to sunny and warm and then back to a cold windy breeze with in a few minutes.
