So obviously I took a little break from posting last week because I was having just one of those weeks where every time I went to write something I just wasn’t able to put down the words correctly or something came up postponing me from working on it. So here we are at Legendary, and like the definition says remarkable enough to become famous: or well known. Which is the premise of my latest TV obsession which is the HBO Max show Legendary it is a show about 8 houses competing for legendary status in 9 balls, and for anyone who hasn’t watched yet it is a must watch for sure. I have been obsessed with the Voguing scene for a while and wanted to give this photo shoot a little essence of my current obsession with hints of Vogue in some of the photos. So be sure to go check it out on HBO Max you wont be disappointed because the Fashions are on point for sure.

So since I wanted to give a little nod to Vogue with this photo shoot I went with a very animated, bold and dramatic look. This started with abstract face t-shirt that in itself is already animated and bold, but alone was not enough to sell the look. Which then meant I had to find other pieces, I had bought these paper bag waisted men’s trousers from Boohoo Man and the belt it came with wasn’t dramatic enough so I replaced it with this long ended webbed belt from ASOS. Then finishing off the look this amazing teal borg oversized duster coat, for the true dramatic moment of the outfit and some clean accessories like the round glasses and white fisherman’s beanie.

The reason all of this was paired together for this shoot was because I wanted something that would create different shapes while I moved and the oversized coat was the perfect piece for that, but I also didn’t want to lose my shape in this look so the tight belt around my waist was essential. I also didn’t want any distractions with this look and sometimes unfortunately hair can do that so a nice tight beanie keeps everything looking crisp and clean. Then continuing the boldness for this look is some classic round sunnies which can instant transport your look and give you some really cool shapes when emoting or expressing yourself because they add some animation.

This by far is one of my favorite looks that I have created, and yes I know it isn’t a typical summer outfit but, just think about doing it yourself the next time the seasons change and it gets a bit cooler and you feel comfortable wearing a jacket.
