| THE CITY BY THE BAY: SAN FRANCISCO

Almost three years ago I went on a trip with my aunt out to San Francisco to see Troye Sivan in concert on a whim and I wouldn’t have guessed in that moment I would fall in love with a city forever, and that the city itself would have my heart. Now that first initial trip was a very short three day excursion, but in those three days we did so much yet not enough that I new I would be back as many times as I could. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to go back as many times yet as I would like but I was able to go for one of the most memorable trips I could ever ask for.

To put in perspective on why this trip was so amazing I have to start with the back-story, which was while waiting in line on a freezing cold San Francisco day to see Troye. I met the most interesting, stylish, and outgoing group of friends that lived in the city in line, and for some reason I decided to talk to them after hearing something in their conversation I could add to. From there the rest is history we talked as we waited in line and I got some first hand knowledge of where my aunt and me should go. They mentioned a spot on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge that we should hit after biking across it, they shared a few good spots to eat, as well as some cool local spots for some great photography, and then they asked if I was coming back for Outside Lands (a festival they thought I would love). I said “No” because I had never heard of it, but I looked it up when I got home because they didn’t steer me wrong with any of their other recommendations. Now here we are a year later and I’m back attending the music festival with a friend and it is literally three days of pure magic, in the city that I love and of course we are staying for a week so that we can experience some of the other sites the city has to offer.
