| BRUNCH MUCH? |
Who doesn’t love breakfast foods? I seriously could eat breakfast foods for every meal of the day, mostly because there are so many choices. Though my favorite and go to meal is a good old French toast with maybe a side of turkey bacon and eggs.
Now who doesn’t love art? Art is one of those things that is subjective and many people can disagree on the meaning, but at the very least everyone can agree that it takes a lot of effort to create art and the pieces we see. Now what about an interactive museum that combines both art and breakfast? That my friend is pure gold!
Interactive pop up museums are starting to become more and more popular these days especially in the metropolitan cities. This type of structure is a creative’s dream spot, because it’s not only entertaining, but it also has many different backdrops for you to take photos and produce that content for your social media. If you’re not careful though you can spend hours upon hours inside, but it is definitely worth the money, as long as you bring friends. I recently went to the Hall of Breakfast a pop up interactive museum in downtown Salt Lake with one of my friends, I got tickets for one of the last few days it was scheduled to be in town. Though due to a high turn out they extended it for another month. The space was probably one of the coolest experiences I have ever been able to experience. My friend and myself were in the space for over 2 hours and created a bunch of cool images, so here are a few of them we shot. Enjoy!
My styling suggestion for an interactive pop museum if you don’t know what to expect when you arrive is to keep it simple, and go neutral. By having neutral colors on you will be able to match any background with in the space. I got lucky and saw a few posts on Instagram that others took for there time at The Hall of Breakfast so I had an idea of what I wanted to wear when I went. But if I didn’t I would have went with my keep it simple mentality and stuck with a solid pant or jean, a basic t-shirt, some statement jacket and maybe a hat. All of which can be taken off or switched around to create different looks for different rooms. Overall it can sometimes be hard to find out about these artistic spaces so make sure you keep an eye out for listings on social media or in local news.
